Andrew Polishuk, Sr., age 73, of Standish, Michigan, died Tuesday, August 19, 2003. Andrew was born April 29, 1930, the son of Paul and Rose Polishuk.

Andrew married Nancy Cloutier of June 15, 1957 at SS. Peter and Paul Church, and he served his country in the Army. He retired from Pontiac General Motors in 1992. Andrew was a true outdoors man, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and riding in his convertible and he was a member of the Sturman Dock Association.

He is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Michael) Griffis of Lapeer, Michigan, sons; Andrew Polishuk Jr. and Perry (Dawn) Polishuk both of Kingston, Michigan, grandchildren; Todd, James, Marissa, Ethan, Jessica, Emily and great-granddaughter, Abigail, sisters; Isabelle (Keith) Blatt of Port Huron, Michigan, Annabelle (Erwin) McCready of Brown City, Michigan, and Jenny (Paul) Christensen of Marlette, Michigan, brother, Joseph (Barbara) Polishuk of Mayville, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy on May 8, 2002 and a brother, Paul.

The family will be present for visitation, Wednesday, August 20, 2003 from 6 to 8, Thursday, August 21, 2003 from 3 to 8 and Friday, August 22, 2003 from 10 to 11. The funeral service will be 11:00, Friday, August 22, 2003 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rev/ Ferrigan officiating. The burial will be in Dawn Memorial Cemetery, Elba, Michigan.
