Harold Arthur Martin, age 92, of Fostoria, died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at his residence in the loving care of his family.    Harold was born March 19, 1914, the son of William L. And Rosa (Snary) Martin in Shiawassee County. 

   Harold retired from Pontiac General Motors after 35 years of service.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, raising coon dogs for coon hunting, gardening, and farming and taking care of his cows.  He enjoyed spending time with the family and grandchildren.

   He is survived by his daughters; Betty Armes of Fostoria and Doris Mersino of West Branch, son, Harold (Margaret) Martin of Auburn Hills, sisters-in-law; Lennah Watling and Phylis Martin, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille in 1986 and daughter, Ruby Anstett in 1991.

   The family will present at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home for visitation on Monday, July 17, 2006 from 5 to 8, and Tuesday, July 18, 2006 from 10 to 11 with the funeral service 11:00 am, at Blackburn Chapel.  Elwin Bishop will officiate.  Burial in Watertown Twp. Cemetery, Fostoria, MI.
