Donald E. Lazar, age 47 of Brown City, died July 30, 2002. Donald was born on April 28, 1955, in Sandusky, Michigan, the son of Mazie (fishell) and George Lazar.

Donald grew up in North Branch area. He was employed as a custodian for Mott Community College. Donald enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his daughter, Christy (husband, Steven) Martin of Gladwin, mother, Mazie of Brown City, sister, Barbara (husband, Terry) Sawgle of Lapeer, Debra (husband, Mike) Jackson of North Branch, and Delores (Jim) Dombrowski, brother, George (wife, Marlene) Lazar of Lum.

He was preceded in death by his father, George, and sister, Velma Wilson.

The family will be present at the funeral home for visitation on Thursday, August 1, 2002 from 5 to 8, Friday, August 2, 2002 from 11 to 1 and 4 to 8, Saturday, August 3, 2002 from 10 to 11. The funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, August 3, 2002 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.
