Emma Kuhn, age 75 of North Branch, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003. She was born November 10, 1927 in Hof-Salle, West Germany.

Emma was an Army nurse during WWII in Germany. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Emma enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, cooking, fishing, and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, son, Jerry (wife, Diane) Kuhn of Mayville, Michigan, grandson Jakob Andrew, and granddaughter, Jerilynn Hope, mother-in-law, Veda R. Kuhn of Almont, Michigan, sister-in-law, Mildred (husband, James) Simpkins of Imlay City, Michigan.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marlette United Hospice.

The family will be present for visitation on Thursday, April 24, 2003 from 1 to 8, and Friday, April 25, 2003 from 9 to 11. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2003 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Ferrigan officiating.
