Carole Kinch, age 63, of North Branch, died June 8, 2003 at Harper University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was born September 3, 1939 in Leonard, Michigan, the daughter of Phillip and Marguerite (Kuck) Patterson. Carole grew up in Leonard and graduated from Oxford High School in 1957. After graduation, she attended Pontiac Business School. On May 14, 1960 she married Robert Paul Kinch, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion, Michigan. Carole was a busy housewife taking care of her family. She was a cub scout den mother for 4 years, and volunteered at Lake Orion Blanche Simms Elementary School as an art aide. Carole enjoyed ceramics, painting, taking pictures, and loved her flower gardens. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in North Branch, Michigan.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Paul", sons; Mark (Cathy) Kinch of North Branch, Michigan and Jeff of Lapeer, Michigan. Daughters; Linda (James) Wolf of Brown City, Michigan and Marianne (Robert) Wells of Silverwood, Michigan. Daughter-in-law, Tina Kinch of Mayville, Michigan, mother-in-law, Beatrice (Schlaud) Kinch, brothers; Wally (Audrey) Patterson of Auburn Hills, Michigan and Ralph Patterson of Florida, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Aaron Wells, and father-in-law, Norman Kinch.

Memorials may be made to the family for use at their discretion.

Family will be present for visitation on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 from 5 to 8, and Wednesday, June 11, 2003 from 11 to 1 and 4 to 8. The funeral mass will be 9:30a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2003 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in North Branch, Michigan with Rev. Fr. Richard Treml officiating. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in North Branch, Michigan A rosary will be prayed 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.
