Frieda Kesel, age 82, of North Branch (formerly of Rochester), died Tuesday, September 24, 2002. She was born October 25, 1919, to parents August and Efrosina (Neumann) Zado, in Macomb County, Michigan.

Frieda married Herbert Kesel in Detroit during WWII. She enjoyed music, entertaining friends, and Volunteer work in the Rochester community, prior to her move to this area. In recent years she had been active in the Peppy Pioneers of Otter Lake and the Senior Citizens Group of Deerfield Township.

Left to mourn her passing are daughter Lisa Kesel, North Branch, son Robert Strasser, Waterford, grand daughter Shauntay Kesel, North Branch, sister Bertha Morrow, Eastpoint, Brother Arthur Zado, Eastpointe, and many nieces and nephews.

Frieda was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, and by her parents. Funeral and burial will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 11:00 AM, at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
