Eugene E. Jamison, age 70, of North Branch, died Friday, October 3, 2003. He was born January 22, 1933 in Deerfield Township to Edmund and Pearl (Carpenter) Jamison.
He grew up in Deerfield Township and he married Eva Acre November 1, 1952 in Fostoria, Michigan. Mr. Jamison served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at Pontiac Motors, retiring in 1978, and he continued to operate Jamison Trucking.
Mr. Jamison enjoyed fishing, gardening, and operating his gravel business.

He is survived by his wife, Eva and mother , Pearl Wheaton both of North Branch, Michigan, children; Edward (wife, Sara) of Lapeer, Michigan, Elwyn (wife Cathi) of Mayville, Michigan, Patricia Jamison of Otter Lake, Michigan, Penny (husband, Joseph) Gillies of Midland, Michigan, and Robert of North Branch, Michigan, 3 brothers; Glenn (wife, Whanetta), Gordon, (friend, Juanita) and Jerry (wife, Sue), 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edmund in 1962.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

The family will be present for visitation on Sunday, October 5, 2003 from 2 to 8 pm and Monday, October 6, 2003 from 9 to 11 am. The funeral service will be 11:00, Monday, October 6, 2003 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Ferrigan officiating. Burial will be in West Deerfield Cemetery, Fostoria, Michigan.
