Garrold "Jerry" Jackson, age 48, of North Branch, died July 19, 2002. Jerry was born September 12, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. The son of James and Arlene (Belil) Jackson. He grew up in Vassar and graduated from Vassar High in 1971. On November 8, 1986 he married Stephanie Joseph.

He was employed at H & H Tool in Lapeer as a machinist. Jerry was an avid sports enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, daughter, Sara and son, Garrett both living at home. Mother, Arlene (Bill) Reid of Vassar and father, James Jackson of Prescott, parents-in-law; Harold and Patricia Joseph, sisters; Nancy, Kathy and Patty, sisters-in-law; Christine Garrett, Sharon Ball and Kathy Hutchinson, brothers-in-law; Michael (Maureen) Joseph and Grant Joseph, many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the family for use at their discretion.

A memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 22, 2002 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.
