
Darwina G. Howland, age 70, of Brown City, Michigan, died December 16, 2002 at Lapeer Regional Hospital. Darwina was born on January 14, 1932 in Lapeer, Michigan, the daughter of Darwin and Donna Wilson.
She married Bob Howland on December 21, 1957 in Detroit, and together they would have celebrated 45 precious years of marriage. Dar was a busy homemaker raising 5 children and helping on the farm. She enjoyed watching movies on tv, reading, latch hook rugs, needlepoint, crocheting and plastic canvas.
She is survived by her husband Bob, sons; Mike of Texas, Pat of Lapeer, Robert (wife, Iris) of North Branch, David (wife, Bonita of Virginia and Chris (wife, Sharon) of North Branch, sister Bonnie St. Johns of Allen Park, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Janice.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
The family will be present on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 from 5 to 8, Thursday, December 19, 2002 from 11 to 1 and 5 to 8, Friday, December 20, from 10 to 11. The service will be 11:00 AM on Friday at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Ferrigan officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, North Branch
