Delores June "Gotthardt" DeGrow, age 76 North Branch, died May 18, 2003 at McLaren Regional Hospital. Delores was born June 13, 1927 in Birmingham, Michigan. She was the daughter of Carl and Florence (Errer) Vollmer.

Delores graduated from Pigeon High School in 1944. She lived in Pigeon from 1933 to 1960. Delores married Maynard DeGrow December 10, 1960 in St. Johns Lutheran Church in Berne, Michigan and moved to North Branch. The vast majority of her life was spent as a loving homemaker. She was a member of the North Branch First United Methodist Church, where she held many offices. Delores held office of Secretary and Treasurer in Port Huron District United Methodist Women. She presently was the treasurer of the North Branch United Methodist Women Unit. Delores was a member of the North Branch Historical Society, the North Branch Gardening Club, and the Diversified Dozen Investment Club.

Delores will be sadly missed by her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Maynard, sons; Thomas (Linda) DeGrow of Midland, Michigan and William (Mary) DeGrow of Okemos, Michigan, grandsons; Patrick (Carol) Thompson, of Lansing, Michigan Kristopher (Traci) DeGrow of Midland, Michigan and Seth DeGrow of Midland, Michigan, 2 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to the North Branch United Methodist Church Building Fund.

The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 for visitation from 5 to 8. The funeral will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at the North Branch United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Ferrigan officiating. Burial will be in Grandlawn Cemetery, Pigeon, Michigan.
