Floyd George Curtis, age 83, of North Branch, Michigan and Lake City Michigan died Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Marlette Hospice Residence. Floyd was born April 7, 1921 in Snover, Michigan, the son of George W. and Ethel (Painter) Curtis.
Floyd graduated from the Michigan School for the Deaf. On October 6, 1951 he married Bernice Trainor in Snover, Michigan, she preceded him in death. In 1984 Floyd retired from factory work.
Floyd was a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Lake City, Michigan. He enjoyed watching and feeding the deer and turkeys, farming, gardening, cutting wood, his John Deer Tractors, and working on crafts with his wife.

He is survived by his sister Ruth Levering of West Bloomfield, Michigan, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, and 6 siblings.

Family suggest memorials may be made to the Marlette United Hospice.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 10, 2004 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Ferrigan officiating. Burial will be in Moshier Cemetery.,
