Ertman Bennett, age 82, of Lapeer County passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003. He was born July 20, 1920 in North Branch, Michigan, the son of Earl and Elizabeth (Miller) Bennett.

Earl was a retired farmer. He enjoyed watching motor cross, baseball and wrestling on tv, and building go-carts.

He is survived by daughters; Irene (Lon) Traver of Columbiaville, Michigan, Lois Rozumny of Mayville, Michigan, Bonnie (Tom) Gerasimowicz of West Branch, Michigan, and son, Don (Peggy) Bennett of Brown City, Michigan, 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, Many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special friend, Geraldine Kamp of Brown City, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Leroy, sister, Elizabeth and brother, Earl.

The family will be present for visitation on Saturday, May 24, 2003 from 2 to 4, and the funeral service will be at 4:00 pm at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Berry officiating. The burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
