
Rita M. Bartholomy, age 76, of North Branch,
Michigan died Tuesday, April 27, 2004. Rita was born January 30, 1928 in
Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence and Florence (Bruman) Linck.
Rita grew up in the North Branch area and graduated from North Branch High
School. On June 9, 1950 she married James Nolan in Detroit, Michigan, he
preceded her in death. In April 1990 she married Marty Bartholomy in North
Branch, who also preceded her in death. Rita retired in 1987 as a billing clerk
for the United Food and Commercial Workers.
Rita was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and their altar society,
and the Lapeer County Senior Citizens Club.
She enjoyed reading and working on crafts.
She is survived by daughters; Lucy (husband Eric Dilbert) Nolan of New Haven, Michigan, and Kathy (Dan) Walker of North Branch, Michigan, son; James (Dianne) Nolan of St. Clair Shores, Michigan and Michael Nolan of California, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, sisters; Anna (Lawrence) Lester of North Branch, Michigan Rosemary Wheaton of Chesterfield Township, Michigan, Agnes Kreiner of North Branch, Michigan, and Marcella (Russell) Henderson of Macomb Township, Michigan, brothers; Joseph Linck of North Branch, Michigan, Leo Linck of Detroit, Michigan, John (Joanne) Linck of North Branch, Michigan, Fred (Emma) Linck of Detroit, Michigan, Edward Linck of North Branch, Michigan, James (Dionne) Linck of Warren, Michigan and Patrick Linck of Tennessee, many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, and brother Clarence.
Rita will lie in state at
SS.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church, North Branch, Michigan, Saturday, May 1,
2004 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral Mass will follow with Fr. Richard
Treml officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Branch,
Michigan.
